Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmad al-Maisari discussed with Abyan Governor Abu Bakr Hussein on Monday latest developments in the province.

Governor Hussein reviewed activities of the local authority and executive offices, as well as obstacles facing efforts of the local authority and security forces in the province, which has suffered more from wars with al-Qaeda and Houthi war.

Al-Maisari confirmed that Abyan gets keenness of the political leadership and the government for improving its conditions, especially in security and development fields.

He praised efforts of local authority in Abyan and its great efforts in normalizing conditions.
