Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Mekhlafi meets Ecuador's Foreign Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi met Friday with the Ecuadorian Foreign Minister María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés.

They discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the prospects for their development and enhancement in various fields.

He praised the level of relations between the two countries and Ecuador's to Yemen in the different international forums.
He expressed his thanks to Ecuador for receiving Yemenis in its territory expressed his hope that the Ecuadorian government will facilitate the stay of Yemeni visitors and students in the country.

He briefed Garcés on the developments in Yemen and the Yemeni governments offers for a peaceful settlment with the Houthi rebels.

He assured Garcésof the Yemeni government's support for Ecuador's nomination for the presidency of the United Nations General Assembly out of Yemen's confidence in the positive role Ecuador can play in supporting the Arab causes.
