The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

VP urges more efforts to counter Houthi sectarian culture

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has urged greater efforts to prevent the Houthi militia from promoting its sectarian and ethnic culture that is against the Yemeni culture, through re-designing textbooks.
As he met Tuesday with Minister of Education Dr Abdullah Lamlas, (Lt Gen) Mohssen stated that education is the corner stone of nations-building and development.
Dr Lamlas reported to the Vince President about the Ministry's plans and efforts aiming to keep on the educational process.
The Minister's also report touched upon underway efforts made by the Ministry to protect the young generation from Houthi militia propaganda and sectarian attitudes.
