FM heads delegation to Geneva humanitarian conference on Yemen

Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Melhlafi will be heading Yemen's delegation to an international conference the United Nations is preparing to hold in Geneva next Tuesday to mobilize more humanitarian support for Yemen.
Minister of Local Administration, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief Aid Abduraqib Fatah will be attending the event. The UN Secretary General and ministers from Switzerland and Sweden will be present.
Earlier, António Guterres had welcomed the $1 billion pledge by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to support humanitarian action in Yemen, as well as their commitment to raise an additional $500 million from other donors in the region.
