Urbanizing the City of Marib discussed

The Deputy of Marib governor Dr Abd-Rabbu Meftah chaired a meeting Sunday aimed to better urbanize the city of Marib as it is the central city of the province.

The meeting included senior officials in charge in the province police, Public Works, Fund of Cleaning.

The discussions focused on two main points: improving the city and strengthening security measures. Concerning to the development of the, a report was provided by the Director General of the City district. The report included troubles need to be addressed to better urbanize the city.

For security, topics related to maintaining the security in Marib were debated. Several measures were suggested to further tighten the security measures in the city—in particular—and in the entire province in—general.

Dr Meftah put much emphasize on the importance of enhancing the security services in the province amid the turbulent circumstances Yemeni has been experiencing. More to the point is that Marib is still targeted by the Houthi putschist militia and terrorist groups.

The traffic jams problem was also elaborately discussed, particularity during the month of Ramadhan.
