The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba reiterated Yemen's Ironclad support for the Palestinian people in their legitmate struggle for establishing their own independent statehood, saying " The Palestinian issue for Yemenis is not a momentary political attitude or a slogan influenced by events, but a matter of legitimate rights and justice deeply rooted in their consciousness and national conscience".

Fatah demands immediate investigation into the fire destroyed WFP warehouse

Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah deeply regretted vandalizing the World Food Program (WFP) warehouse storing in the province of Hodeida where fire reported to have destroyed some 50 thousand tons of food and relief staffs.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Fatah urged the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs Lise Grande, the Resident Representative of the WFP, Regional Director Stephen Anderson to initiate an immediate impartial investigation into the incident to identify the party might be responsible for the incident and take necessary legal measure against any party turned out to guilty.

The Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee described the destruction of the WFP stores in Hodeida as grave loss that will negatively impact the portion of food allocated to the people in need in the province of Hodeida and several sounding regions.
