Cabinet of Ministers discuss assassinations of mosques' orators

The Cabinet of Ministers devoted a meeting Saturday to address recurrent assassinations against the mosques' speakers and preachers.

The Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher presided over the cabinet's extraordinary session that elaborately debated the practical plans aimed to counter terrorist acts of its different forms.

The Cabinet underlined the need for removing duplicity of security and military mandates and unifying the military and security decision in cooperation with the Command of Saudi-led Arab Coalition for restoring legality in Yemen.

The Ministry of Endowments and Guidance reported the cabinet about the criminal acts targeted the mosques' orators and preachers including assassinations and arrests.

The Council of Ministers has instructed the Ministry of Interior and its apparatuses in charge to move for protecting the orators and preachers, to investigate into all criminal incidents and take necessary precautions procedures to prevent such crimes from recurring in the future.

The Foreign Minister detailed the cabinet about the underway preparations for the Geneva Humanitarian Conference scheduled for April 3rd of April that aims to mobilize the needed resources to fund the UN Humanitarian Response Plan of 2018, with total cost estimated at$3 billion.

The Cabinet has approved to pay the due payments of the fourth quarter of 2017for the Yemeni students abroad as soon as possible.

The Cabinet has set up a joint committee from the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Fishery to address the problem of Yemeni fishermen who have been abducted from the Yemen seashores and moved to Eritrean Islands.
