Ministry of Public Health and Population is launching tomorrow anti-measles immunization campaign funded by the UNICEF.

The six-day emergency vaccination campaign is targeting 770 thousand children aged 6 month to 10 year, according to Dr Ali Al-Waleedi, undersecretary of Ministry of Health and Population for Primary Health Car.

Dr Al-Waleedi told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) 1748 health workers are going to carry out the vaccination campaign in 27 districts of six provinces. Some 284 field supervisors and 134 central supervisors are supervising the campaign that aims to carry out 899 thousands doses of vaccines, according to Al-Waleedi.

" The vaccines are safe and the same types that used around the world, free-risks", asserted Al-Waleedi.
