Yemen's ambassador to Beirut Abdullah Addoais met Tuesday with the former President of Lebanon Ameen Al-Jomayil.
The ambassador briefed Mr Al-Jomayil on the situations in Yemeni, mainly humanitarian situations and economic hardships the Yemeni peoples have been struggling with as a result of Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup and brutal practices.
Addoais detailed the Lebanese ex-president on the Humanitarian Response Plan aimed to help alleviating the humanitarian crisis.
Addoais' talks also touched upon the international efforts for peace, citing the legal Yemeni government's support for the newly appointed UN envoy Martin Griffith.
For his part, Al-Jomayil decried external interferences that fuel conflict and give raise to a protract war in Yemen; wishing that political forces join efforts to eliminate the coup and reinstate the legal government.
