ADEN-SABA
The Chief of the Supreme Committee for Relief Abduraqib Fatah has condemned the Houthi imposed blockade on al-Shaer district in Ibb province.
The rebel militia has been besieging the district and abducting its civil residents and driving them out of their villages for days now. In a statement to Saba, Fatah said the continued blockade against the district is a crime against humanity.
He called on the international community to end this blockade and to save civilians with relief aid. He called on the new UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen to condemn all the militia's blockades against different Yemeni towns and cities.
Fatah lamented the blockade as a terrorist practice that the international community has to counter firmly.
