Houthi Terrorist Militias landmines kill 1104, injuring 1429 civilians in 9 years—Report
The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms reported that the Iranian-backed Houthi Terrorist Militias-laid landmines killed 1104 and injured 1429 civilians during the time from January 2017 to March 2026. For material damages, 2414 incidents were reported due to the anti-personnel and anti-armor landmines planted randomly by the militiamen.

Hudramout deserves more than two Universities, says minister

A preliminary meeting held in Syoon Saturday included senior academic education officials in Wadi Hudramout.

The gathering chaired by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Hussein Ba-Salamah.

The improvement of academic education was key focus of the discussions.

Dr Ba-Salamah stressed the importance of establishing the needed specialized colleges that can serve the development requirements in Wadi Hudramout region."

The Minister also noted that two Universities in Hudramout aren't enough Hudramout deserves more than two Universities ", said Ba-Salamah.

The deputy governor of Hudramout Aessam Al-Kathiri suggested that establishing a University of Syoon has become imperative.
