Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Abdullah Al-Aqwa'a held talks on Thursday in New Delhi with the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kai Seingh.
The talks aimed to explore possible means to resume work on Marib 2 Gas- Station . It is a significant Power- Plant with total capacity 450 MGW. The Gas-Station was supposed to put into operation by the end of 2014.

Al-Aqaw'a also met separately with the Indian Minister of Renewable Energy Raj Kumar Seign. The meeting explored aspects of future cooperation between Yemen and India in the field of renewable energy both solar energy and wind energy.
These meetings were held on the sideline of Al-Aqwa'a's visit to the Republic of India where he attended the "Fist Founding Conference of the International Alliance of Solar Energy".
Yemen's ambassador to India Abdulmalik Al-Iryani was in attendance.
