Health teams mobilize Aden communities in favor of anti-diphtheria vaccination

The Department of Health Awareness in Aden has started a campaign of community mobilization toward the supporting local anti-diphtheria vaccination drive.

The Department's manager Nahwan al-Aghbari told Saba that 170 volunteers have been deployed in the past few days in the districts of Seera, Sheikh Othamn, Dar Saad and Bureika in the temporary capital city.

The mentioned districts are the target of an anti-diphtheria vaccination drive. The mobilization teams are raising the public awanress about the vaccination in those districts and will continue in their mission until 15 March.

The mobilization teams hand out awareness-raising leaflets and broadcast similar messages by loudspeakers as they patrol the mentioned districts by cars. The Department is also raising the awareness through schools and mosques.
