Cabinet celebrates World Women Day

The Cabinet has marked the World Women's Day, March 8, with a celebration in the Cabinet's office in temporary capital Aden on Thursday.

The Cabinet's female employees were honored for pressing ahead with their duties despite difficult circumstances Yemen is going through as a result of the Houthis' rebellion and insurgency that brought that had devastated everything.

In a speech, State Minister Salah al-Sayadihailed the women's heroic role in Yemen's most difficult moments. He said that the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference which Yemenis agreed on in 2013-2014 guarantee women their rightsfor political participation in all decision-making positions and aspects of life.

The General Manager of the Cabinet Secretariat, DhikraSayf Ahmed, said in a speech "we are certain the wheel of development will roll again in the government recaptured provinces especially after ending the state of coup d'état."

She said that "we affirm our stand by the internationally recognized government .
