The Prime Minister Salem bin Braik expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as to the Saudi government and people for their generous support provided to Yemen and its people in various fields through strategic projects that have contributed toward enhancing services and development sectors, particularly the health sector.

YCMHRV says 92 thousand Yemenis maimed during Houthi insurgency

The Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations (YCMHRV) said that 92000 Yemenis were maimed as a result of injuries sustained during the Houthi rebels coup and insurgency that began in September 2014.

Delivering the YCMHRV's speech before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, journalist Hamdan al-Aiyy said that the disabled in Yemen have lost all of their rights including the minimum right of rehabilitation since 350 rehab cente4rs have closed as a result of the ongoing war.

He said that more and more civilians are losing their limbs as a result of landmines that are internationally banned by the Houthi rebel militia has been planting in all Yemeni cities and provinces to this moment.

He said such landmines are the main cause of war-related handicaps in Yemen. He wondered what the UNHRC would do to stop the increase of war-related handicaps.

He also said that Houthis abduct boys in broad day light from schools to military recruitment centers to train them and send them to fight the government in the different fronts.
