The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation has reflected on resuming the implementation of Hassan Dam project in Abyan. The project was stalled during the past few years as a result of the conflict roiling the country.

Ahmed Azamiki the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Baleedi the chief of the General Authority for Water Resources, an affiliate of the agriculture ministry, and other competent officials discussed the resumption in a meeting in Aden on Monday.

The project will be financed by Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and implemented by the Indian Investment Company.
