LONDON-SABA
Yemen's Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani met Keith Vazthe Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Yemen in the British Parliament in London on Friday.

Al-Eryani expressed the Yemeni government's appreciation of the UK's exerted efforts to support the restoration of the Yemeni state and its legitimate government represented by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

"You know better than others the suffering of the Yemeni people which has always been aspiring for nothing other than freedom, independence and peace. (Aspiring to be a country) that does not be a nuisance to its neighbors and friends as it is today under the Houthi coup," he told Vaz.

"I have big confidence in your firm belief in the fairness, of not only the Yemeni government, but of the Yemeni cause. (I also have confidence) in your support to the restoration of the elected government, the democracy and human rights which have been missing all since the inauspicious coup d'état."
