Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah Lamlas has stressed the importance of developing an integrated plan to absorb regional and international support for the education sector in order to ensure the progress of the educational process.
In a technical workshop held for formulating a transitional education plan at the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut on Thursday, in the presence of representatives of international donor organizations including the World Bank, Lamlasstressed the need to open coordination offices for the relevant organizations in Aden and Sana'a. He praised the efforts of the UNESCO in developing and presenting a plan to exploit the support for Yemen's educational; process.
On the sidelines of the workshop, Minister Males discussed with the Director of UNESCO Office in Beirut HamedAl Hammami the difficulties faced Yemen's Education Ministry has been facing since 2014, foremost of which is the lack of a budget and other war-related challenges.
