The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin-Daghr sent a cable of congratulations to his Djibouti counterpart Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed on the success of the seventh parliamentary elections in his country.
"On the occasion of the success of the seventh parliamentary elections in the brotherly country of yours, Djibouti, I wish to convey to you and to the people of Djibouti our warmest congratulations," read the cable.
"We, in the Republic of Yemen, always look forward to strengthening the fraternal relations between our nations," it added.
