Health Ministry receives IV solutions aid from KSrelief

The Ministry of Public Health has received a shipment of intravenous solutions as a medical aid from King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief) to hospitals and health centers in different provinces.

The shipment, of 12,240 IV bags, which arrived in the temporary capital Aden on Monday by cargo plane is the first of its kind and more shipments will be delivered to Yemen via land transportations, according to health officials.

Deputy Health Minister for Planning Ahmed al-Kamal said shipments will continue to be sent until a total of 230,000 bags is reached.

KSrelief is delivering aid to Yemen in various fields and helping to mitigate the impact of the humanitarian crisis that the Houthi insurgency has plunged Yemen into.
