GIZ Stabilizing Project in Hadhramout discussed

Sayoon Local Authority has discussed the mechanism of implementing the Stabilizing Project to be carried out by German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ in Hadhramout.

In the meeting held on Monday and presided over by Assistant Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Valley and Desert Districts Affairs Hisham al-Saidi, the Project Director Ahmad Saeed reviewed the project's objectivity represented in supporting local authorities and corporations, as well as creating integrated cooperation between the state and the society.

The project works on two phases; supporting inclusive local governance for stability and implementing service projects contributing in improving basic services for locals, said Saeed.

The meeting approved commencing the project via preparations, training and holding workshops to executive directors and district directors
