President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi has put much emphasize on the importance of judiciary and its role as a key pillar of power. President Hadi stated that judicial authorities and law enforcement services need to be strengthened so that they can do their job successfully, delivering justice the people are looking for.
President Hadi's statement came as he met Sunday with the Chief of Justice Judge Humood Al-Hitar who briefed His Excellency on the efforts have been exerted and the progress made with the purpose of reinstating judicial authorities.
Judge Al-Hitar reported about the achievements realized in re-organizing the High Council of Judiciary, the Supreme Court, General Attorney Office and Judicial Inspection Authority.
Al-Hitar noted that judicial authority at central and local levels have already reinstated. courts and prosecutions resumed to operate in the interim capital Aden and the provinces of Luhj, Al-Dale'a, Taiz, Shabwah, Hudramout, Al-Maharah and Marib.
