Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Salem inspected on Saturday the rehabilitation work of Ba-Tais Dam in Khanfar District.

He urged engineers and contractors to double work and rehabilitating all the dam's channels as one of the biggest dams for draining floodwater to nearby agricultural lands.

Salem also inspected ongoing works for cleaning Delta Abyan Canals, directing agricultural and irrigation department to be ready to utilize floodwater this season for irrigation as wide as much of lands.
