The Republic of Yemen has denounced the two suicide attacks in Somali Capital Mogadishu and took lives of a number of people and injured another number.
The attack was carried out by two car bombs; one car attacked the presidential palace on Friday and the other targeted a nearby hotel.
"While the Government of Yemen strongly condemns this criminal and coward act, it confirms its full solidarity with brotherly government and people of Somalia against terrorist attacks," said Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a release to Saba.
These criminal acts, which targets civilians and public places in Somalia confirm how dangerous the terrorism is and show its blatant threat to security and peace, added the release.
The ministry expressed heartfelt condolences to the leadership and people of the Republic of Somalia and to families of the victims, wishing quick recovery to wounded people.
