A discussion symposium on the role of Youth and Woman in outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) held here on Saturday.
Sponsored by the State Minister for National Dialogue Conference's Outcomes AffairsYaser al-Ruaini, Deputy Governor of TaizAbdulqawai al-Mikhlafiinaugurated the symposium and confirmed key role of youth and woman in social and national issues.
Al-Mikhlafi presented quick review on the key points included in the NDC's outcomes on youth and woman, noting that those outcomes, which empowered youth and woman, must be translated into actions as safe wayout to Yemen.
For his part, NDC' Member Aiban al-Sami' presented in his paper on the role of youth and woman in national struggle and democratic transfer a review on youth rights in the NDC's outcomes.
He recommended conducting key amendments in state social and economic policies for enabling youth participation in the political, social and economic policies and making inclusive national plans for combating unemployment, poverty and extremism, as well as making strategies aiming at reforming educational institutions.
In the second paper, Member of NDC Dr. Ulfat al-Dubai' talked about woman's role and major challenges she faces in the society and her role in revolution and social and political process.
She highlighted the NDC's outcomes as victories for woman's right she practices in social and political domains.
Leaders of political parties, government officials and civil society organizations participated in the discussion.
