Central Bank Board Approves Measures to Strengthen Financial and Monetary Stability

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Yemen approved on Thursday a set of measures and directives aimed at improving institutional performance and reinforcing financial and monetary stability, concluding its sixth session of the year in the temporary capital, Aden, chaired by Central Bank Governor and Board Chairman Ahmed Ahmed Ghaleb.

Yemen joins International Alliance of Solar Energy

Yemen's ambassador to the Republic of India Abdulmalik Al-Iryani singed Thursday the agreement of the International Alliance for Solar Energy. By doing so, the Republic of Yemen has become signatory country to the agreement of the emerging organization.

Al-Iryani explained that the Alliance of the International Solar Energy is going to hold its founding summit on March 11,2018 in the Indian capital New Delhi.

The summit is expected to be attended by the heads of states and governments of the founding member states including India, France, Australia and Bangladesh.
