The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

The Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Dr. Mansour Bajjashhas praised the role of the People's Republic of China in supporting Yemen's legitimate government and the achievement of peace in Yemen based on the three fundamental terms of reference.
During his meeting with the Chinese acting ambassador to Yemen, Bajjash gave an overview on the developments in Yemen. They discussed Yemen's participation in the Arab-Chinese Forum scheduled to be held in July 2018.
The Chinese diplomat stressed the importance of establishing security, peace and stability in Yemen. He renewedhis government's continued support and assistance to Yemen, especially in the humanitarian field.
