Salaries to be paid this week in Taiz, says governor

Governor of Taiz province Dr Ameen Ahmed Muhmood has confirmed that government civil service' employees in the province would be paid within this week.
As he held a meeting Sunday included representatives of Trade Unions and civil society organizations, Muhmood stated that he makes the government's employees salaries a top priority on his agenda.
He explained that the President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Hadi promised that the salaries of the government's employees in Taiz would be paid regularly and the province would be dealt with as a government-controlled province.
The governor also promised to handle the problem about 9000 of the retirees in the province who have not been paid their due monthly pension salaries.
