PM inspects Khor Makasar Power Station

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher along with a number of his government members paid an inspection visit on Thursday to the 'Khor Maksar Electricity Generate Station' in the interim capital Aden.

During his visit, the Prime Minister also inspected progress in the project designed to provides Aden International Airport with electricity through a separated cable. The project's total cost is 200 million Yemeni Rial (YR).

Dr Bin-Dagher was briefed by the Deputy Minister of Electricity Mubarak Attamimi on the preparations have been made by Power Station's management to cope with the increasing demands for electricity in summer.

" Some practical arrangements have been taken to increase the increase the Power Station capacity with 50MWA more", said Attamimi
