The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Yemen coordination with FAO explored

Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Othman Mujalli met Wednesday in Rome with Director General of the United Nation Organization of Food and Agriculture Jose Graziano da Silva.

Aspects of cooperation and cooperation between our country and the FAO were key focus in Mujalli's talks with da Silva.

Mujalli explored possible role the FAO can play in supporting Yemeni agriculture sector to cope with the challenges it has been struggling with because of the war-time circumstances.

The Minister of Agriculture explained the grave loses Yemeni agricultural sector has suffered due to the ongoing armed conflict, highlighting the urgency for coordination with the UN's agencies which are concerned with emergencies, on top of all the FAO.

Mujalli and Silva agreed on mutual and effective coordination between Yemeni government and FOA in order to secure more developmental aid to prop up agricultural sector in our country.

Our country's ambassador to Italy Asmahan Abdulhameed Attowqi was in attendance during the meeting.
