Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammar al-Eryani strongly condemned the horrific crime committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia, which resulted in the death of five children and injury to others in the al-Arsoom area of the al-Hashmah region in the al-Taziah district, northeast of Taiz Governorate over the explosion of a locally-made explosive device.

Minister Basalam inspects technical, agriculture institutes in Abyan

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein ba-Salama, along with Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Salem inspected on Monday a number of technical and agricultural institutes here.

Minister ba-Salama visited the Industrial and Vocational Center at al-Kod, al-Awaras Institute building at Zunjobar and Health Sciences Institute and Agriculture Institute at Ja'ar.

He was briefed by Director of the Technical Education Office in Abyan Province Mahdi al-Juhaini on the ongoing education at technical and vocational institutes and efforts for rehabilitating them.

Minister ba-Salama confirmed keenness of the government on taking care of technical education for their economic importance and providing youth with skills in different specializations.

Ba-Salama met with the Dean and teaching staff of College of Education at Zunjobar, noting that the government will commence work in constructing three colleges at Abyan University.
The three colleges will be health sciences, pharmacy and computer.
