Kuwaiti Fund signs Grant Agreement Worth $1.2 million for displaced persons in Yemen

The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Minister of Youth and Sports Nayef al-Bakri discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Yemen PAKWoongchu ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in the field of youth and sports.

Al-Bakri stressed the deep relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Minister al-Bakri stressed the importance of re-activating the Korean Ambassador's Taekwondo Championship. He also expressed his hope that Korea provides Yemeni athletes with sports trainingcourses in Korea.

The ambassador stressed his keenness to strengthen the distinguished relationship between the Embassy and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to serve the development of Yemeni sport.
