RIYADH-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has ordered that all forms of abuse of state properties including the environment in Socotra archipelago and the entire government-held territories to be stopped.

In a meeting with the chief of the General Authority for Lands and Urban Planning Anees Ba-Haritha in Riyadh on Tuesday, Hadi urged for expediting the implementation of the government's strategic Master Plan for Socotra. The plan sets guarantees for the conservation of the archipelago's sanctuaries against any damages.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ba-Haritha had briefed Hadi on the Authority's exerted efforts to guard the state properties and on the challenges the Authority faced as a result of state agencies with no authority issuing illegal permissions for property use.
