The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hassan Salem presided over a meeting on Sunday discussing situations of displaced people coming to the province from Northern provinces.
In the meeting attended by representatives of a number of associations, NGOs and relief organizations in districts of Zunjbar and Khanfar, Governor Salem confirmed the humanitarian and brotherly role and cooperation of all, especially relief organizations in providing different forms of aid to alleviate suffering of displaced families over the war waged by the Houthi militia on the state and the people.
The meeting formed an emergency committee in the province for following up situations of displaced people.
