Minister of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani along with Director of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions ' Office in Marib Abdulrahman Salim Assai'ri launched on Sunday in the city of Marib the delivering of first shipment of fuels provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This shipment of fuels came within a nation-wide plan for humanitarian aids the Arab Coalition launched recently in Yemen. The fuels assistance is allocated to the humanitarian case in the capital Sana'a through the UN World Food Program(W.F.P). The fuels shipment contain 180 thousands liters of diesel.
Al-Iryani made clear that the fuel shipment is intended to be used for operating the hospital's generators for the humanitarian cases in the capital Sana'a which is still under Houthi control. This cargo is one of three shipments to be provided weekly with a total quantity estimated 500 thousands liters per week.
Al-Iryani called on the W.F.P, which is authorized to deliver the shipment to the Houthi militia, to set out a strict and transplant mechanism of mentoring to prevent Houthi militia from confiscating the fuels shipment totally or partially.
The Minister of Information expressed the Yemeni government thanks for the KSA under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, Emir Mohammed Bin Salman for ordering the overall humanitarian and relief campaign in Yemen. He also thanked the KSA ambassador to our country, Mohammed Al-Jaber, the Executive Manager of the Humanitarian Operations
