MARIB-SABA
Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani has arrived in Yemen's eastern city of Marib in one of the flights carrying Saudi humanitarian aid.
.The cargo is part of multiple daily flights Saudi Arabia and the Arab Coalition it leads are sending to Yemen to bring aid as part of a massive relief plan unleashed early this week.
"We were honored today to accompany one of the food aid flights which land in Marib as part of three daily flights that carry 30 tons of aid" for Yemen, said al-Eryani upon his arrival.
He said that the assistance plan includes the fields of food, oil products, education, health, road rehabilitation and other as part of a total aid worth more than $1.5 billion.
"Look at what Saudi Arabia and the rest of our brothers in the Arab Coalition provide to us (…) and compare it with what Iran provides, nothing more than weapons, missiles and landmines to kill Yemenis and dismember their bodies," he said.
Al-Eryani thanked President Abd-Rabbu Hadi, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and all members of the Coalition. "The Yemeni people will not forget these aid, the aid will remain emblematic of our strong brotherly bonds."
