Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher discussed on Thursday with governor of Luhj province Maj. General Ahmed Abdullah Atturki the nessary measures and steps need to be taken to control smuggling activities.
The governor detailed the Prime Minister on the province's need to put Ra'ss Al-Arah harbor into operation, initiate emergency, infrastructure services projects as prerequisite step toward re-normalizing the situation.
The Prime Minister give instructions to the concerned authorities to get procedures about operating Ra'ss Al-Arah port accomplished, since this is necessary to help controlling smuggling businesses.
Bin-Dagher also order Ministry of Electricity to provide the province with the needed amounts of fuel to operate electricity stations and take necessary measures to provide the province with an additional 10MWA of power to cope with the increasing demands for electricity in summer.
