President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has pointed to the Houthi avoidance of peace deals in the different rounds of talks.

In a meeting with the Dutch ambassador to Yemen Irma Van Duerenin Riyadh on Sunday, Hadi briefed Dueren on the government's past experience of dialogue with the rebels who avoided reaching deals in all rounds, and , in 2014, abandoned Yemen's historical National Dialogue Conference opting for an external agenda.

Hadi said he is looking forward to more support from the Netherlands and the European Union to the Yemeni people in such difficult times.

The Dutch ambassador expressed her delight at the meeting which embodies the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.

She conveyed the greetings of her government to Hadi saying the Dutch Foreign Minister is planning to visit Riyadh, meet Hadi and emphasize the Netherland's support to Yemen.
