Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Thursday with the special envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen Isma'il Ould Sheikh Ahmed.
The meeting aimed to discuss the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and to explore prospects for making peace and ending the Yemeni crisis.
The Vice President has affirmed that legal leadership and government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi is very keen to bring about peace that should be based on the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue and UN Security Council resolution 2216.
