Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Abdullah Al-Aqwa'a discussed on Wednesday with the Director of Abu Dabia 'Electricity Authority' Saif Assaighari cooperation in the area of electricity and energy and projects of electricity which are being carried out in Yemen, funded by the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Aqawa'a has underlined Yemen's urgent need for the UAE' s grant to put Al-Hisswa electricity station in Aden into operation with total capacity of 10 MGW.
Topics related expertise exchange and Yemen's need to benefit from the UAE experiences in the field of operating electricity stations on gas were also discussed during the meeting.
