RIYADH-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received Monday the United Kingdom ambassador to our country .
The British diplomat handed President a letter from the British Secretary of State Boris Johnson said to have included a best wishes on the New Year, in which Mr Johnson expressed his best wishes for Yemen's leadership and people. He also wished Yemen security, stability and peace.
President Hadi praised Yemeni-British relations, describing them as deep-rooted and historic. Hadi appreciated the UK's support for Yemeni in different times, most recent was the British supportive stance for Yemen through the GCC's brokered-deal, the outcomes of the National Dialogue and UN's resolutions about Yemen.
President Hadi has cited Yemen's experiment of the National Dialogue that gained national consensus and regional and international support. The National Dialogue concluded successfully, with significant outcomes, draft of new constitution for a federal Yemeni state. But Houthi coup d'état has foiled all of that progress in favor of Iran. So, Yemenis won't agree to go for more dialogues to desecrate the national consensus, regional and international support.
