The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

A preliminary meeting held Sunday in Aden, interim capital, with the purpose of discussing action-plan of 2018 investment program of Aden province.
The ِِActing governor of Aden province Ahmed Salimain chaired the meeting which included deputy governor for investment, Ghasan Azamiqi, General Director of Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation's office Entissar Sa'aeed and General Directors of the province districts.
The needs of development and basic services projects in the province were key focus of the discussions.
The meeting stressed that basic services projects should be a top priority.
The Acting governor underlined the importance of tax collection as a significant revenues resource. Salimain also urged team work-spirit in order to get rid of difficulties and enforce rule of law.
