Government Committee Reviews Flood Damage in Districts of Taiz

The government committee assigned to assess flood damage headed by Minister of Local Administration Eng. Badr Basalama conducted Wednesday a field visit to review the extent of the destruction caused by floods in several areas of the districts of al-Mudhaffar, al-Qahira, Mocha Mawza and al-Wazi’iyah in Taiz Governorate.

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh conducted Saturday afternoon a phone call to the Chief of Staff Maj. General Tahir Al-Aqaili. In his telephone call, the Vice President wanted to know the latest advancements realized by the troops in the battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia in Al-Jawf province.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen praised the troops sacrifices and heroic battles they have been fighting against Houthi putschist militia, deeply appreciating support by Saudi-led Coalition for protecting Yemeni identity and restore legality.

For his part, the chief of staff briefed the Vice President on the combat operations and victories gained by the armed forces in the province of Al-Jawf .
