Yemen has participated in the first day of the 18th session of the Committee on Transport and Logistics convened by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) on 20 December 2017 in Beirut, Lebanon.
Yemen's representative to the two-day event is the Deputy Minister of Transports Naser Sharif told Saba he will discuss with the Executive Secretary of the ESCWA Mr. Mohamed al-Hakim the way to jumpstart the Yemen-ESCWA partnership and coordination stalled because of the war.
