Kuwaiti Fund signs Grant Agreement Worth $1.2 million for displaced persons in Yemen

The Yemeni Charitable al-Hikma Society launched on Monday the project of distributing Chinese Rice provided from China.

The project targets 1680 families from pensioners and employees of some institutions at al-Qahira, al-Mudhafar and Sala Districts here. Every family will get a sack of 25 Kg.

Abdulkafi al-Usaimi, the member of the committee entrusted with distributing the material, talked about bad need of the people for food aid over the war and siege imposed on Taiz city for three years.

The Director of the Society Ahmad al-Shamiri expressed thanks to the People Republic of China for aid contribution for alleviating suffering of the people of Taiz.
