The Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals Eng. Shawqi al-Mikhlafi has discussed the resumption of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a meeting with the Executive Director General of Safer Exploration and Production Operations Company (SEPOC) Eng. Salem al-Ka'iti and his deputy Eng. Adel al-Hayjanah.

The meeting discussed SEPOC's ongoing efforts for the maintenance of oil facilities, upgrading their production efficiency and their plan for next year.

Al-Mekhlafi made clear that the government is working to ensure the re-operation of oil and gas production after the security and technical requirements for re-operation have been fulfilled.
