The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Sixty-five families losthouseholders in Taiz in two months: NGO

As many as sixty five families have lost their householder in Taiz during the months of October and November this year, the Coalition for Humanitarian Relief, an NGO,said a newly issued report.
The Coalition said 200 other householders who supply the livelihoods of their families are jobless now because they were wounded beyond earning capacity in the mentioned period.
The report added that 18 children and six women were killed and 22 children and 10 women were seriously wounded in the rebels shelling of the city on almost a daily basis.
The report recounted dozens of family displacements and horrific human rights violations that the Houthis committed in the city which they have been besieging and firing rockets into for nearly three years.
