Wethaq Foundation for Civic Orientation organized in Marib on Sunday an awareness-raising workshop for the parents of children recovered from the hands of the Houthi rebels who had recruited them in Amran to work as fighters against the government.
The workshop was held as part of the second phase of a rehabilitation program that the King Salman Center for Relief is organizing for former child soldiers and children traumatized by the ongoing war.
The workshop ratcheted the parents' knowledge about the legal caveats against and psychological and social impacts of soldierizingchildren.
