RIYADH-SABA

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen] Ali Mohssen Saleh met with the British ambassador to our country Simon Shercliff.

Yemeni-British bilateral ties and cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

The Vice President briefed the British ambassador on the recent events in the capital Sana'a and several provinces. He cited the violations committed by the Houthi-Putshists.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen has reiterated that legal authority has been very keen on making peace based on the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue and UN Security Council resolution 2216.

The British diplomat condoled with the Vice President on the death of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior figures of the General People Congress. He also affirmed that the UK will continue to support legal leadership in Yemen and Yemeni people as well.
