President Hadi receives US ambassador to our country

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Wednesday the American ambassador to our country, Matthew Tuller .

The meeting dealt with the latest developments in Yemen including the repercussions of the recent escalations in the capital Sana'a.

The President talked about ongoing escalations and the dangerous consequences on Yemen and its future. He asserted that there is no way out of current dilemma but to re-establish peace and stability upon the tree bases: outcomes of National Dialogue, remain articles of the GCC's Initiative and UN Security Council resolutions mainly no (2216).

President Hadi expressed hopes for more support by the US and international community to help Yemen and legal leadership to achieve the national objectives of the nation in different fields.

The US ambassador said:" We had confidence in your wise leadership that you can lead the country into stability and peace".

Mr Tuller extended his condolences on the death of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The American diplomat added that:" the US does renew its support for President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and it looks forward to joining efforts that can help Yemen overcoming challenges".
